Binance login without google authenticator

1 Answer(s)

When attempting to use the Binance cryptocurrency exchange, many users have problems with google authenticator. Google authenticator is part of the login process only for accounts that use two-factor authentication. Google authenticator is optional even for verified accounts, but once it is enabled, it can become challenging to log in. Sometimes, Binance will tell a user that their password is wrong even though their password is correct.

Most likely, this is not a problem with Binance but rather with google authenticator itself. If google authenticator has problems on the phone you are using; you will not be able to log in to Binance with it. Sometimes, it can be a problem related to the time displayed on your phone. Checking or unchecking the option of automatically syncing time can sometimes fix the problem.

If a users clock is inaccurate, this will often cause google authenticator to fail. If a user used a computer to register their account and is using a phone to use it, they should make sure that the time on the computer and on the phone are the same. If this is not enough to solve the issue, contact Binance and they will usually help you get back into your account.

After getting back into your account, you might choose to disable google authenticator to avoid similar problems in the future.
